Alzheimer's Disease Studies
Alzheimer's with Agitation: Many individuals who suffer from Alzheimer's also suffer from agitation. According to the NIH, agitation means that a person is restless or worried; he or she doesn’t seem to be able to settle down. Agitation may cause pacing and sleeplessness. In two of our current studies, different medications are being tested to ease the symptoms of agitation.
- All studies include: Detailed evaluations, EKG, comprehensive laboratory tests as part of the research will be offered free of cost. Medication and care related to research will not be charged.
- Patients and caregivers will be compensated for their time and travel.
